Orange County has two kinds of housing side by side. The cities and the old village centers — Newburgh, Middletown, Port Jervis, the middle of Goshen, Warwick and Florida — have streets of older houses, many with plaster walls and decades of paint. Further out, in Chester, Monroe, Wallkill and Blooming Grove, much of the housing went up in subdivisions from the 1980s on.
The kitchens, bathrooms and floors put in during the 1990s and 2000s are reaching the age when they get replaced, and roofs, decks and porches take the brunt of the winters. Each project gets a written quote for homes built in 1978 or later that lists what is included, and any change is agreed in writing before it is done.
A leak in any house, old or new, can be traced with the thermal camera and the moisture meter, with the findings put in writing.
We work in English, Hebrew and Spanish, Sunday through Thursday 7am to 7pm and Friday 7am to 1pm. There is no work on Saturday.
