Painting and hardwood floor refinishing in this program are offered for residential buildings with 4 or more units and for commercial properties.

Between one tenant and the next, a unit needs fresh walls and floors that look cared for. We paint units and common areas and refinish hardwood floors — with one contact person and a written proposal before any work starts. Program clients get priority in scheduling between tenants, subject to availability.

What we do

• Unit turnover painting — walls, ceilings and door frames, between tenants
• Common-area painting — hallways, stairwells and lobbies
• Hardwood floor refinishing — sanding and a new finish, in units and in common areas

Built before 1978?

We currently do not take painting or floor refinishing in any building built before 1978, residential or commercial. Federal lead-safe rules (EPA RRP) may apply to work that disturbs painted surfaces in pre-1978 housing and in buildings where young children spend time regularly. Leak and moisture diagnosis, and thermal imaging for heat or cold loss, are available for any building.
